Description:
Civil engineering and assembly works within the project “Tower & Co Strom und GFs”: connections of optical network and power network to the Deutsche Telekom 5G base stations (towers).
The works will be performed, based on separate orders (10 towers are combined in one order). It is scheduled to construct connections to 20 – 30 towers in one year, but in total for the contract period – connections up to 100 towers.
The purpose of the project “Tower & Co” is expansion of GSM coverage, especially, outside cities. For this purpose 100 Deutsche Telekom high voltage base towers will receive 1kV current connection and optical fibre connection to FTTx network. 5G technology will provide the highest possible internet speed and capacity at the moment (one base station can serve the maximally larger number of devices). Also, this technology will provide significantly lower signal delay (latency).
